Each week you will be asked to go through the playlists and make sure that each DJ is playing the required number of Canadian artists and so on. This exectutive member will also be required to provide the list of CDs that will be placed in the booth each morning along with the CDs of that day that the DJs can choose from and then return these to the production room at the end of each day.
This position requires to promote the station and events held by the station, make posters and that can help get the station more known among the college community. The promotions manager is to think of ways to do this and propose them at exec meetings, as well as to carry them out and get the station known!
This position requires you to provide a binder at the beginning of each week that contains summaries of relevant news articles and such that the djs will be required to read on air about one of today’s news events, in order to keep everyone interested you will be asked to make sure you have different topics and types of article and so on. You will also be required to provide the daily news at the beginning of each morning in the both to allow the djs to inform on air the college about the days events in the school.
The webmaster is responsible to design the website, keep it up to date, as well as to ensure that the station is broadcasting online (when this service will be available). Lots of dedication, time, as well as teamwork and individual work is required by this exec.
